Nimble

In 2024, ROOKE are touring Nimble as part of our Circus Across Tasmania program.

Tasmania’s own ROOKE brings us all a little closer once more, right to the edge of our seats. Their new work, Nimble, plays the line between tension and joy, risk and release. Blocks, boxes and acrobats will be stacked and balanced and belly laughs will be had. This intimate work explores connection, humanity and trust. A treat for the whole family. Not to be missed.

Flinders Island and Queenstown dates for Nov/Dec now on sale.

Circus Across Tasmania

CAT brings world-class circus shows and accompanying workshops and community engagements to smaller towns across Tasmania.

This model is flexible, adapted to suit each community. Our aim is to share the joy and potential of circus with as many Tasmanians as possible.

If you’re interested in CAT bringing some contemporary circus to your community, get in touch.

We ran our pilot for CAT (Circus Across Tasmania) in August 2023 in Deloraine, to overwhelmingly positive responses. See the video below by the wonderful Tom Wood to learn more.

CAT is generously supported by Arts Tasmania as well as private donations. If you are interested in helping us to deliver this program into the future, please get in touch.
