Anisah has adored being upside down for most of her life. After training in CIRCA’s Youth Troupe during her teenage years she joined Collective Circus. Anisah has performed in shows for The National Circus Festival, Brisbane Festival and Woodford Folk Festival and spent 2023 studying at NICA. Anisah specialises in acrobatics, hula hoops and creative tumbling.

Fran Reeve is an emerging multidisciplinary visual and performing artist living and working in nipaluna/Hobart. Fran is interested in examining the relationship between artwork and viewer.

I’ve been a part of a youth circus group here in Tasmania for the last 6 six years and I also grew up with my older siblings being in circus so I’ve been around circus most of my life. My main specialty is static trapeze and I’ve also done a bit of double and swinging trapeze.

Last year REAP presented me with some really fun opportunities, I got to learn from the amazing ROOKE team, watch performances and and was able to perform in Up Late myself.

I’m super excited for what this year will bring and I’m so happy to be a part of REAP again and to be involved in upcoming opportunities.

Grady Lynch is a Launceston local who has been performing since early high school. From musicals to Shakespeare and now predominantly as a professional wrestler, he enjoys any opportunity to embrace performance and the challenges they present. Grady is also undertaking a Bachelor of Performing Arts degree at Utas.

I’ve been with Warehouse Circus in Canberra for 10 years. I started circus as a fun after school sport, and have never wanted to stop! I have been in the Warehouse Performance Troupe for several years and love the opportunity it provides for me to train, learn new skills and perform. I also work for Warehouse as a trainer and Programs Administrator.

I applied for REAP after meeting ROOKE at the Canberra Circus Festival. Seeing Interloper was the highlight of the festival for many of us there. I also had a fantastic opportunity to work with Lewie on ‘jugglumbling’ - a combination of juggling and tumbling, which I loved! I feel very privileged to work with ROOKE through this program and look forward to seeing what emerges from it.

Over the last year, I’ve cowritten a juggling and tumbling act with Lewie which enabled me to perform in a show at Adelaide Fringe. I was also able to participate in Dekoor and experience the creative development process and performances across the week. I’m looking forward to seeing the development of Nimble throughout this year, and continuing to develop my skills with my ROOKE mentors!

I’m 17 and live on the Northwest Coast of Tassie. I’ve been involved in the local entertainment community for the past 7 years and have enjoyed every minute. I joined Slipstream Circus in 2017, after becoming a huge fan of Cirque Du Soleil at the age of 12.

I trained as an aerial artist at Slipstream for 4 years and performed in several of their productions. I then left Slipstream to pursue an interest in my local theatre community, I gained a strong passion for technical theatre and started Stage Managing, Production Managing, and designing/operating lighting for community theatre shows.

With the support of my local community, I have since been able to start up my own business as a local Theatre Technician and have now been a part of 40+ shows.

I’m excited to travel with the team in 2024 and see how a professional company works and tours, whilst gaining oodles of fun knowledge. I can’t wait to see how their show develops in the season.
