Conor Wild

Conor was born in London, UK. A very energetic child he’s spent much of his time climbing, jumping and turning upside down. He discovered these things could, in fact, lead to a career and went on to train at The Circus Space, now the National Centre for Circus Arts. Eventually he decided it would be much easier to just move to Australia so he could be upside down all the time... There he met the love of his life, Freyja, and together with their son Otis they’ve put down roots in lutruwita / Tasmania.

Conor is a nerd and an over thinker and loves rolling on the floor. He has an honours degree in Circus Arts and a keen interest in the cross section between dance and circus, which is the main focus of his practice. He has lived and toured around the world with companies including Cirque Éloize, Circa, Circus Oz and Les 7 Doigts de la Main.

Whilst creating Conor spends most of his time trying to create things that be described as ‘gooey’ or ‘schloopy’, ideally both, sometimes just plain ‘sick’ will cut the mustard. Conor also enjoys being stood on.
